I've been inspired my many people trough the years. My hero's, mentor, rolemodel, coach, partner, friends and family have all contributed to the person I have become.

I always claim to be a very open person. 'An open book' as we say, just a book with so many pages that it'll take anyone a lifetime to discover it all, because I'm adding to it daily.

By sharing these views, idea's, principles and filosophies with you I also honor the people that influenced my life for the best.

Let's make it fabulous!

Attitude & Value's

I'm greatly influenced by Zig Ziglar. I consider him as my major mentor. He already was before I became director of Ziglar Training System Benelux some years ago.
If you've never seen or heard of Zig Ziglar, you can go to: http://www.zigziglar.com and buy some of his books. I recommend 'Over The Top' to start with.
Ofcourse you can start by watching the video on the side. It's his signature story: The Pump of Life.

The difference between Education & Training

I love several of the idea's of Dr. Nido R. Qubein. One of those idea's is the difference between 'education' and 'training'. I was inspired mostly by his performance back in 2001 to join Toastmasters. Due to time reasons mainly (the time and place of their meetings didn't fit into my shedule) I had to leave Toastmasters again, still, I'm quite confident one day I'll join'm again. In the timespan of the year I was involved, I really learned a lot from them. And I still am in touch with several of the people I learned to know back then.

Let's make it fabulous!

This is my mantra. My easy to remember mission statement if you like. I got the idea for the first part of it, the << Let's >>, from the unfortunatly already passed away Jim Rohn. His idea's and most of all his ability to communicate filosofies in such a clear and understandable way, are a gift for everyone of us.

... fabulous!

Whenever I think about 'fabulous!', next to Zig Ziglar, also Anthony Robbins commes to my my mind. Studying why people do what they do, why they think the way they think ... I learned a lot from Anthony Robbins too. Thanks to TED talks you can here see a 22min vid that's most interesting. It's very well invested time to watch it.

I just love this idea ...

Because I also was raised with the same 'doom scenario' and if you believe the doom profets, you might still hear such fairy tales. It's great to see how someone is able to give us the bright look on reality and how remarkable people are and can be.

Something that has no future: copyright

I share Larry's idea's on this topic completely. Society is changed. The internet has changed the way the world works. Laws shouldn't prevent creativity of the millions and innovation.

Junior Chamber International

Last but not least, if there's one organisation that I recommend everyone between age 18 - 40 to become a member of, it is JCI. Being a member for a decade now, it's been a tremendous time.

Toastmasters

You don't know what it is? Where it is? Well, maybe there's a club in your region that first your shedule. And YES, you should combine it with JCI if you can. There's so much in life, and life's too short not to enjoy it!
